1-Year Limited Warranty Policy
At Ecomobi, we stand proudly behind the quality, durability, and engineering of our
premium mobility scooters. We want you to ride with absolute confidence. That is why
every new mobility scooter purchased directly from ecomobi.co.uk comes with our 1-Year
Limited Manufacturer's Warranty and Lifetime UK-Based Technical Support.
1. What is Covered (The 1-Year Warranty)
For a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery, Ecomobi warrants the following
original components against defects in materials and workmanship under normal,
intended use:
● Structural Frame: Main frame components and seat post.
● Electrical Components: Motor, transaxle, controller, and wiring harnesses.
● Battery: Batteries are covered for one (1) year against manufacturing defects.
(Please note: A gradual decrease in battery capacity due to normal usage and
charging cycles is expected and is not considered a defect).
Our Promise: If any of the covered components fail due to a manufacturing defect within
the first year, our technical team will diagnose the issue and ship the replacement parts
to you absolutely free of charge. We will also provide detailed guidance to help you or a
local technician install the part.
2. Lifetime Technical Support
Long after your warranty expires, our commitment to you remains. Every Ecomobi owner
receives lifetime access to our UK-based technical support team. Whether you need
troubleshooting advice, maintenance tips, or help ordering spare parts in the future, we
are just a call or email away.
3. What is NOT Covered (Warranty Exclusions)
This warranty is strictly limited to manufacturing defects. It does NOT cover damages or
failures resulting from:
● Normal Wear and Tear: Items that naturally wear out over time, including but not
limited to tyres, inner tubes, brake pads, motor brushes, upholstery (seat wear),
armrest pads, and plastic shrouds.
● Human Error or Negligence: Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents,
dropping the unit, or improper storage.
● Water Damage: Our scooters are water-resistant for light splashes, but damage
caused by driving through deep water, heavy rain, or improper exposure to moisture
is not covered.
● Weight Capacity Overload: Damage resulting from exceeding the specified
maximum weight capacity of the scooter.
● Unauthorised Modifications: Any repairs, alterations, or modifications made by
unauthorised personnel, or the use of non-original Ecomobi parts.
● Commercial Use: Scooters used for rental, commercial, or institutional purposes
are excluded from this standard warranty.
4. How to Claim Your Warranty
If you believe your scooter has a manufacturer defect covered under this policy, please
follow these steps to initiate a claim:
● Contact Us: Email our support team at support@ecomobi.co.uk with your original
Order Number.
● Provide Evidence: Include a detailed description of the issue, along with clear
photos or a short video demonstrating the problem. This is crucial for our engineers
to accurately diagnose the fault and expedite the dispatch of your replacement parts.
